Spend the weekend at Essential Studio with Critical Alignment Therapist Danielle Pechie and release the tension in your body that creates limited mobility.

Learn how to use the tools of CA Yoga to alleviate upper back, neck and shoulder tension. Release tension to support fuller deeper breathing. Investigate common postural habits and improve your posture.
Learn how to release tension along the spine and support proper movement in the lower back/ pelvis area.
Understand the lower back and common lower back issues.
Learn how to release lower back tension, knee and hip pain.
Learn a new way to relate to “core” strength.
Apply these new concepts to common yoga postures to stabilize, deepen and strengthen your practice!

FRIDAY 13TH, 7-10PM: CRITICAL ALIGNMENT FUNDAMENTALS

$95- Includes 3-hours of postural investigation and take home a laminated program & spinal strip. Book before October 15th and save $20.
Join Critical Alignment Yoga Teacher Danielle Pechie and learn the Basics of this style of therapeutic yoga. Critical Alignment is a method of yoga that release the tension held in the body to create a new balanced alignment. In yoga, even seasoned practitioners have the habit of working the body from the surface layers of muscle. The muscles are linked to will power and discipline, and working hard on the mat can create unhealthy strain in the body. Critical Alignment teaches us to relax in a deeper way to let go of tension that maybe we don’t even know we have. Join us for a 3 hour investigation of postural therapy and the use of the Critical Alignment Therapy Props.
SATURDAY 14TH, 1-3PM: CRITICAL ALIGNMENT – FORWARD BENDING, LOW BACK & HIPS

$65 or save $15 by booking before October 15th.
In this workshop we will look at the 4 quadrants of the hips and how the lower back plays into our ability to mobilize and stabilize the pelvic girdle.
SUNDAY 15TH, 11.30AM-1.30PM: CRITICAL ALIGNMENT – BACKBENDS AND CONSIDERATIONS

$65 or pay $50 if you book before October 15th.
Backbends are fun and very useful as a part of a balanced yoga practice! In this workshop we will look at safe, effective and fun ways to stretch and strengthen the spine.
